The most dangerous moment when woodworking is when I forget to respect the tool. Should I decide to use any saw in way that it was not intended to be used---I’m going to end up giving ‘High-4 ½’s’ instead of high-5’s. Should I be upset about this harsh reality? It doesn’t matter—I must respect the tool and the proper ways to use the tools. The Lord has given us the rules of life, revealed to us the greatest way to live. May we heed His instructions and respect their truth, lest we deal with the reality of our poor decision making.
Where am I currently experiencing the need for greater conversion in my life?

Fr. Chuck Dornquast is a son of St. Joseph Parish in Zephyrhills. After graduating from Zephyrhills High School, he entered the seminary where he would spend the next 9 years. While in seminary, he spent time at many of our diocesan parishes and discovered more and more the heart of Christ the High Priest within him. After ordination, he spent his first 4 years of priesthood as the associate pastor of St. Lawrence in Tampa. He currently serves the Diocese of St. Petersburg as the Director of Vocations.
