John 14:5-6
How do we get to Heaven? It may seem like a trivial question, but I think it’s essential to take time occasionally, to examine the path we must take on that journey. Can you name concrete ways in which you’ve chosen this week to get to heaven? Now of course we don’t get to heaven by simply working, but we must take an active role on that journey. In today’s Gospel, Jesus lays out that path. “I am the way the truth and the life.” How do we get to heaven? By entering the life of Christ, by praying the way Jesus prayed, by serving the way Jesus served. When we follow the path and example that Jesus left for us, we see the road map to Heaven.
