How Loved Am I?

By Fr. Chuck Dornquast
If someone makes a grab for my popcorn—it might be dangerous for them...

Rom 13:9

Love your neighbor as yourself

I find it a lot easier to share popcorn after I've eaten a good portion of it. However, if someone makes a grab for my popcorn—it might be dangerous for them. Todays reflection invites us to love your neighbor as yourself. Which begs the question, how loved am I? Am I loved to overflowing and more than enough? I've found that this mandate is possible only when I have allowed myself to be loved to the extent which God desires to love me. Then am I truly able to share whatever I'm asked to share, even my popcorn.
