Jer 17:5
"Cursed is the man . . . whose heart turns away from the Lord."
In chapter 7 of "Rediscover the Saint" Matthew Kelly speaks about one of the most known saints in the world, Francis of Assisi. Matthew Kelly quotes that "as a young man Francis became profoundly dissatisfied with his life. He had spent his youth being the life of the party, but began to leave him feeling empty. This emptiness led him to a belief that there simply must be more to life."
Throughout life everyone experiences these feelings but the way we react to them and in how we allow the Lord to help through these moments is truly what is going to make a change. If we allow the Lord to guide us through this dissatisfaction we can truly live a beautiful life.
If we all allow the Lord to speak to us so we can listen to what may be causing this dissatisfaction or emptiness we are feeling only then we can respond to them rather than reacting.
