In our daily Christian walk, we often hear the phrase "good steward." A good steward surveys the gifts given and shares the gifts of time, talent and treasure. These produce good fruits for the community. A wise steward understands that by sharing what they have, they will make individuals, the church and the community at large, a much better place. People will come to respect that individual. They are like a tree bearing good fruit. However there are others that can drain the environment with negativity or ulterior motives. This can produce a bad fruit or nothing at all for the group or individuals. Before making any big decision in our lives, we must pray for discernment that we recognize what is going to be good fruit and who will be producing it.

How can I recognize what person or group is going to produce good fruit?
Holy Spirit, help be to be good harvester so that I can live my life in the fruits of your spirit!
