Is: 25:8
He will destroy Death forever.
I'm not a fan of saying goodbye to the ones I love. Death hurts. I want my loved ones to live forever, and I'm not alone. Even Alexander the Great sought after a fountain of youth, a source of life without end. Humankind for some reason has sought for a life without end. How then do II deal with my desire for eternal life? Do I bring my desire for eternal youth or eternal life to my relationship with Jesus Christ? Do I run to His mountain which has given us life without end or do I run to the many "fountains of youth" which promise temporary life to me? As we continue in our journey towards Christmas, may we bring with us our desire for eternal life, our hope that One person might truly satisfy that desire.
