Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.

What would it look like if we chose to love more? Think about it; how would our lives be different if we chose to love each person we ever met or had any interactions within a more intentional way? Honestly, it sounds like a daunting task… But what if?
In the first letter of St John it says, “let us love one another, because love is of God… Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.” If we are serious about our faith, if we are serious about being Christians, then I think we must take seriously the fact that if God is love, and we are called to be like God, we also must love. Our faith is not meant to be stagnant; our Christian life is meant to daily draw us closer to our Lord. What if today we chose to love more?

Heavenly Father, give us the grace to see others the way you see them. That in our thoughts and our actions we may love others the way you love others.
