With one accord, the crowds paid attention to what was said by Philip when they heard it and saw the signs he was doing. Acts 8:6
If you were labeled a Christian 2000 years ago, you had a good chance to die for the faith. Persecutions were everywhere and Saul was leading the charge. Yet the disciples had the courage to go forth and proclaim the gospel to all the world. 2000 years later, we are still persecuted and ridiculed for our beliefs. When we stand up for what we hold true, we are taken to court, made to change our ways, and adapt to the society's latest fad. We must hold fast to truth and courageously proclaim that Jesus is Lord of all!
