Here at Spirit FM, we encounter many people from all walks of life. Most belong to a church community and are happy to share where they worship. There are a few good, spiritual friends who admit that they don't belong to a church community. For whatever reason, they either don't feel welcomed at the churches they have visited, they maybe didn't find the right spirituality in the church, or they didn't have the programs they were looking for. There are many reasons why people say they are "spiritual" but don't belong to a formal church. They are on an island. It is our job as Christians to be inviting and welcoming. As Jesus tells us, "for where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
Question for Reflection
Will you invite someone to Church in the next week? How about in the next month?
Come Holy Spirit, give me the courage to be inviting and welcoming to all.
