Matthew 10:22
"But whoever endures to the end will be saved"
Jesus told us what would happen if we follow him, and those people who follow through their faith will be saved. People who die for christ, who die for their faith are martyrs. There was martyr who went to convert native americans, they tortured him and cut off some of his fingers. He was found by other missionaries who took him back to europe. When he was healed he asked/begged to go back to america to keep trying. He. Eventually got what he wished for, he sailed all the way back to convert them. He died at the hands of the same native americans who tortured him before. His name was St. Isaac Jogues. God calls us to give Him a part of ourselves so He would would give Himself to us, just imagine what He would do if we gave all of ourselves to Him.
