As the Uganda Martyrs Day, celebrated on 3 June draws near, Archbishop Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kampala has urged the faithful never to be ashamed of the Catholic faith.“You should be strong in your faith and never be ashamed to make the sign of the cross in public or before anyone else who is not Catholic,” said Archbishop Lwanga.Speaking when he flagged off a walk in remembrance of the brutal trail of the Uganda Martyrs’ last days to their final martyrdom, the Archbishop noted that Christians should emulate the courage of the martyrs.
