I think that when we were born, our parents and relatives wondered what will become of us. And I imagine they envisioned big plans for us. Likewise, God, when creating us imagined great things. Today the gospel invites us to reflect on what happened to that child and those plans. What happened to our child? Have we searched for the plan that God has for us? Have we lived that plan? We may have forgotten the plan for which we were created, but God has not. We have been called to announce the Kingdom of God and as long as we do not live that mission, we will not have a full life. As Saint Augustine says, we have been created for God and our hearts will not be calm until we rest in Him.
