His plane took off from Malmo airport at 13.00 hrs local time. During his visit, the Pope attended a joint commemoration with the leaders of the Lutheran World Federation of the 500th anniversary of the protestant Reformation in the city of Lund.  He wrapped up his visit on Tuesday morning by celebrating Mass for Sweden’s small Catholic community in the southern city of Malmo.
