(Vatican Radio) The Secretary General of the NATO military alliance has warned US President-elect Donald Trump that "going it alone" is not an option for Europe or the United States. Jens Stoltenberg made the comments amid mounting concerns in especially Eastern Europe that the United States will be less committed to their security despite Russia's growing military influence in the region. At the same time, he was also named Titular Bishop of Mons in Numidia by Pope Francis.
