Luke 1:46
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior.
Who can benefit from us? Which type of person are you? The person who is grateful and joyful even when it rained all day Thursday, delayed traffic, puddled up parking lots, and we didn't see the sun all day? Or the one who is always looking for an answer, searching and ruminating, but never really asks the questions to someone who could help them find the answers? Or the one who is never satisfied, who asks questions and questions, but is not satisified with any of the answers.
The good news is God loves us all. It is when we turn to Him with our questions, or lack of, with our joy, or our rainy day blues, that we learn to accept His love and love Him in return. We experience our faith, but do we share it? Are we willing to invite someone to church? Can we stop and chat with a neighbor? Are we bold enough to step out of our comfort zones and volunteer somewhere this Christmas season?
Rejoice in the upcoming Christmas season in God our Savior!
