Cultivate Your Faith

Friday, February 1, 2019 • Elle
We have some large oaks around in Tampa and a mustard plant form what I can see in pictures looks to be about the size a a large oak tree.

Mark 4:32

But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants
and puts forth large branches,
so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade."

We have some large oaks around Tampa, and a mustard plant form what I can see in pictures looks to be about the size a a large oak tree. The mustard seed is so small it fits on a finger, unlike an acorn which nore comfortably fits in the palm of your hand.  It is impressive that each of these seeds, in fact that any seed, grows and changes into a plant of greater size.

Our faith is like that small seed planted on our hearts and in our souls.  As we grow and change, our faith hopefully grows and changes too.  The problem is when we don't cultivate our faith and it stays stagnant.  As we pray for those caught in these terrible snow storms and freezing temperatures across most of our country, let's find creative ways to cultivate our faith, either by reading, or drawing, or even singing songs of praise.
