Has this Christmas season deepened our awareness of Jesus as truly man and truly God?
1st Letter of John 1:5
Beloved:
This is the message that we have heard from Jesus Christ
and proclaim to you:
God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all.
Has this Christmas season deepened our awareness of Jesus as truly man and truly God? As we gather with our families and friends to celebrate our traditions, let's be sure we honor the birth of Christ by spending a few moments reflecting on how His birth makes our Christian faith come alive! In just a few months we will revisit the way Jesus died, His Passion and then Resurrection at Easter. If we have glossed over the beauty of His birth by getting distracted by the festivities, then we can overlook the human nature of Him.
"See what the Father has bestowed on us so that we may be called the children of God" 1 John 3:1
