God is the source of every truly good thing. All the blessings we enjoy come from the Father. I think a lot of us understand this intellectually but fail to show Him the gratitude He's due. It's common for our prayers to be filled with petitions and worries but we often forget to give thanks for the good in our lives. Try this: next time you pray, try to think of at least one thing to give God thanks for. If you can, try to make this a habit. Thanking God for His goodness consistently can draw us closer to Him in a powerful way.
