The blind man did not receive his answer to basically what we can call his prayer intention, give a heel click..
The blind man replied to him, "Master, I want to see."
Jesus told him, "Go your way; your faith has saved you."
Immediately he received his sight
and followed him on the way.
Mark 10:52
The blind man did not receive his answer to basically what we can call his prayer intention, give a heel click, and go on about his business. Do we? He followed Jesus on the way. The way of Jesus is intentional, a way filled with love and forgiveness, new starts and dying to former ways.
Lots of us have wants, and it is also important that we remember to include all the tenants of a solid prayer life: intercessory prayer, worship and praise, thanksgiving, and asking forgiveness. Then we too will develop that faith that will strengthen our spiritual sight and save us.
